Transportation Administrator Deep Dive Session 3: Pupil Transportation Success

The Deep Dive Training series continues with new topics critical to pupil transportation success. This training program is open to everyone. Learn in a small group with direct instruction and interaction with Transportation Consultant Pete Japikse and attorney Hollie Reedy.
Topics that will be covered in this next session will include:
Fleet management (Fleet records, bus purchase timing, and best maintenance practices.)
Payment in lieu of transportation – Law, rules, and processes
Emergency management – Preparing for the unexpected
Routing policy (Alternate stop policy, determining eligibility zones)
Managing your state reports (Driver records, T-8, T-9, T-1, T-2 reports)
Feel free to bring your board transportation policy along. We can review individual policy with respect to state regulations and ridership policies.
The deep dive training is a 6-hour session limited to 6 participants to ensure the experience will be hands-on and personalized. The small group format allows for questions and consideration of particular issues affecting your district. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
Space is limited! Cost for the program: $399.00 ($199.00 for the second staff person from the same district.)
