Join us for the 2024 Chats from the Bus Stop Webinar Series. The series is designed for veterans and newcomers alike. Ennis Britton Consulting Group’s Pete Japikse and Ennis Britton’s Hollie Reedy will take a deep dive into some of the most pressing issues and provide updates and resources on timely topics relevant to school transportation.
January 9: Bus accident planning: If a bus accident occurs, does your district have a structure and plan in place to handle it effectively? The value and roles of advisory and accident review committees.
February 13: Driver Handbook Review: What should be in it and what should be avoided? Future you will thank you for improving this important document for personnel issues down the road.
April 9: Deep Dive into Driver Qualifications: Stay compliant with laws and regulations on driver qualifications. We will look at hiring, documentation and record maintenance, entering information into the state database, and problem-solving common issues.
May 14: Routing Nightmares: Avoid the potholes. We will discuss statutory requirements and deadlines and the practical problems of routing. How does payment in lieu of transportation and a driver shortage fit into this conversation?
